As the iPhone 3G I have been using became slower with each incremental release of the iOS, I felt that it was time to upgrade to a more robust iPod. With the recent release of the new wave of iPods by Steve Jobs and Apple, I felt the new additions to the iPod Touch were just what I wanted in a new iPod.
Ever since the initial February challenge, I’ve been running. I not only used Couch to 5K to prepare for the Bronx Zoo Run For the Wild, but I kept running even after that race. Wanting to take my training even further, I began using the Couch to 10k program in order to increase my distance and stamina.
Last week at Obliterati, I was able to acquire a Powermat 2X in the gift bag. This device is not only a universal charger, but it is able to do it with minimal wires and clutter, allowing the user to do it with a minimal footprint.
The latest Bluetooth headset from Motorola is the H17, a small form factor earpiece that connects wirelessly to your cellphone in order to talk without holding your phone. As I have previously written, my friends challenged me to run a 5K because I thought to attempt running again. The first time I attempted to run, it lasted less than a week (mainly due to work commitments) and wasn’t the best of experiences. Since Lucius Kwok introduced me to his Couch to 5K iPhone app, I decided that would be the program I would attempt to follow.
One of the advantages of being a developer is to have access to things before they are released to the general public in order to develop programs in relation to them. If you are an iPhone developer, you get early access to major revisions of the operating system in order to make sure your existing programs work and to develop programs utilizing the new features in the operating system. I upgraded my iPhone 3G this weekend to try out some of the new 4.0 features.

Like many others on Saturday, I purchased Apple’s latest device, the iPad. After 2 days of use, I’ve gotten my first impressions as I have gotten acclimated with the device.
